Efficiency or Effectiveness?

Too word that look so similar but they could be more different. Let’s break them down.

Effectiveness is achieving maximum value.
Efficiency is achieving maximum productivity.

We can be extremely efficient at doing what we don’t need to do. How much value would we produce this way?

This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be efficient.

If we first focus on being effective, then we can worry about being efficient. The other way around is just wasteful.
