Make meetings more productive

In a previous post I’ve mentioned that we need to be more effective instead of trying to be more efficient. For this exercise, let’s say that you have already removed all the NO NO’s from your day to day.

These are 3 MUST DO’s that you can implement to improve your meetings and not impact your day.

  1. Book meetings around lunch time or at the end of the day. Meetings in the middle of the working day impact the creative flow of your teams.
  2. Keep meetings short, 60 minutes max. If you need to go further, do a quick 10 minute interval.
  3. Keep meetings small, if someone is not needed for that meeting, excuse them. There is nothing worse than sitting in a meeting room deriving zero value from it.

Cheers,
