Welcome to another Social Saturday. The series where I go online meddling on others people business to bring them my 5 cents.
Our question comes from my favorite group on Facebook Agile Coaches & Trainers.

I was extremely surprised about some of the answers there. None of them where touching upon what Agile is. More importantly, none were coaching why the answer would never be what the person asking was expecting. So I will try to do my best.
Agile is a set of principles and values that can be applied to everything. They are independent of the type of project and what the project is going to deliver. What being Agile really means is that you value :
Individuals and interactions over processes and tools,
Working software over comprehensive documentation,
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation, and
Responding to change over following a plan

None of these 4 values have any correlation with the type of project or the output of the said project. Don’t confuse ways of working with project management delivery frameworks.
If you want more help around this subject, feel free to reach me out over the socialz. I would be happy to help you with your questions.
PS: As someone with an old Business Intelligence Developer, that was also the Scrum Master of a Business Intelligence team. Quantity of KPI’s is not a good metric of amount of work to be done.
Cheers,
